Pastor Gary
Gary L. Blacklidge, Sr.
Gary grew up in Dayton, Ohio before moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan to attend the University of Michigan. After graduating with a degree in Natural Resource Management, he worked in the banking industry while attending Wright State University in Dayton to obtain an M.B.A.
Gary then worked for a number of years in a family-owned financial consulting firm, before finally answering God’s call to go into the ministry. Gary completed the Licensed Local Pastors school in June of 2022. He was called to First United Methodist, Greenville, Ohio in July 2022.
Gary and his wife Jodi have four children and five grandchildren. They both love to sing, and for a number of years, in addition to singing in church choirs, sang with the Dayton Philharmonic Choir and Chamber Choir, and the Bach Society of Dayton.
